I started on the manufacturing floor, building startup operations from the ground up and managing P&L through rapid growth in capital-constrained environments. From there I moved into enterprise technology — leading global business systems at Symbol Technologies, architecting the IT separation of Motorola into two public companies covering 400+ applications, and most recently serving as Executive Director of IT at Applied DNA Sciences, where I built a high-throughput LIMS that processed over a million COVID-19 samples, developed an AI/ML model that replaced days of manual analysis with hours, and ensured compliance across FDA, NIST, ISO, and SOX frameworks. Today I continue as their fractional CIO while working with additional clients through Ackerman Strategic Advisory.
